Dentures are artificial teeth that look just like the real thing, made out of durable acrylic or metal. These are removable, great for replacing missing teeth and also to help retain normal speech or chewing capacity.
Dentures have been evolving and improving over the years, so it’s best that your dentist works with you to determine which types of dentures will be appropriate for you.

Denture Types

Partial Dentures

These are used to fill any gaps left by missing teeth, this can be single or multiple. Partial dentures are held in place by thin, sturdy metal clasps.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are fitted immediately following a tooth extraction. It’s not always appropriate to leave a gap or sometimes a denture is needed to ensure that you can chew.

Full Dentures

This is a fantastic solution to replace missing natural teeth. Full dentures can be made for upper, lower or both sets of teeth bringing you full mobility.
