Dr. Wonjoon Lee was born in South Korea and moved to Australia when he was in the 8th grade. He has finished high school at the Queensland Academy and graduated with a UQ Dental Degree. He has been working in the dental field since 2016 and has worked at many different practises, which include both rural and urban regions.
Dr Lee is experienced in general dentistry, which is inclusive of dental restorations, inlays and onlays, crowns, bridges, and veneers; aesthetic buildups; extractions; root canal treatments; and more. He is also researching expanding his scope to perform implant surgery in the future.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr Lee enjoys spending time with his family. He is a music lover and used to play piano and guitar, to the point that he could do very small concerts in the past. He also enjoys playing video games in his spare time.
He loves being able to contribute to patient well-being in the long term. He likes to teach patients the importance of dental health, which can potentially have a strong impact on a patient’s life.
A lot of patients do not acknowledge that dental health is not something that can pass by like seasonal flu, but has long-term consequences once things go wrong.
