About Dr Ryan Chan

As a kid, Dr Ryan spent plenty of time in the dental chair, he just never realised he would wind up being the dentist and not the patient.

After having nearly every procedure possible as a teenager including fillings, braces, tooth aches, extractions, Dr Ryan was grateful for his dentist who explained the importance of looking after his teeth.

While his initial career ambition was to work in business, an opportunity in the army inspired him to switch to a career in dentistry.

Dr Chan now believes it is his role is to help his patients, but ultimately, the patient is in ultimate control of their own treatment.

When not at the dental centre caring for his patients, you might find Dr Ryan strumming a guitar to his favourite jazz tune, playing volleyball or spending time with his wife and daughter.
