Dr Md Mokerrom Hasan BDS, FRACDS (GDP), MS (Oral Surgery), FCPS (Oral Surgery) General Dentist with special interest in Oral Surgery Ex Senior Lecturer Oral Health, Central Queensland University

My name is Dr Mokerrom Hasan and I am very excited to join as a team member of dentistry with Primary Dental and Medical at Bankstown and Ingleburn centres. It is great to see that Primary dental and medical centre have already included me into their team and I would like to extend my services to the valuable patients of both Primary medical and dental centres.

I would like to describe my long 19 years career history with Oral surgery and General Dentistry. I have just completed my FRACDS in GDP and elective was in Oral Surgery from Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

After immediately passing my BDS I was qualified in a 5 years course in Master in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery followed by a 4 years fellowship in Oral surgery from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and college of physicians and surgeons Bangladesh accordingly. I was working as a consultant of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and senior lecturer of oral and Maxillofacial surgery in the one and only most reputed institute of Bangladesh, Dhaka Dental college and 200 bed public dental hospital.

After moving to Australia as a registered dentist I took training in the Royal Melbourne dental hospital and finally selected to work in Queensland. I was working with 1300 smiles dentist in Rockhampton and was the course Co-ordinator and senior lecturer of Oral health in the Central Queensland University and was also working in the Mater Hospital Rockhampton for surgical work and achieved a very good reputation and faith among the patients.

I have brought to you a 19 years clinical experience in complex general dentistry and 12 years of experience in oral surgery. I would like to deal with all sorts complex general dental procedure and oral surgical procedures including wisdom teeth extraction, pre-prosthetic surgery, guided implant procedures either local anaesthesia or under general anaesthesia or I/V sedation in the day case surgery theatre of primary medical centre or in hospital.

In my clinical practice, I have had the privilege of becoming part of the Dental Clinicians team and ensure that the patient remains in the care of their primary Clinician. I will endeavour to support your team with the best of complex general dental and oral surgical procedures for your patients.
